The consortium of Philippine's biggest conglomerates dropped their proposal of the redevelopment of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) project amid coronavirus pandemic.
The consortium consists of JG Summit Holdings Inc, Alliance Global Group Inc, Filinvest Development Corp, Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc, Ayala Corp, and LT Group Inc.
Due to reduced global air travel, the consortium has proposed the government changes to the project to keep it viable in the current situation. However, the government has not accepted the proposed options and the project can go ahead only under the original options.
