Competition relaunched for Operation and Maintenance of Lima Convention Center

The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) has relaunched the Competition for the Operation and Maintenance of the Lima Convention Center (LCC) in Peru.

The LCC is a contemporary structure constructed and overseen by the MVCS, featuring a total floor area of 15,000 m². This space encompasses 18 versatile convention rooms spread across eight levels, along with four subterranean parking levels and auxiliary zones for conference room support, venue management, storage, maintenance and distribution of kitchen supplies, catering, and cleaning materials, as well as areas for cafeterias, translation, and recreation. The Operator's responsibilities and privileges include:

  • Handling the receipt, use, preservation, and maintenance of assets;
  • Overseeing, administrating, and utilizing the leasing of infrastructure and equipment for event development;
  • Managing, overseeing, and utilizing the annual schedule, including designing, organizing, and promoting events compatible with the infrastructure;
  • Providing additional services such as catering (food and beverages), restaurant services, and general advertising within the premises and other designated media, ensuring they don't compromise the visibility or architectural aesthetics of the LCC; and
  • Implementing asset reversals.
