The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) has launched a Request for Proposals (RFP) to design, build, finance and operate the new COMESA facilities in Lusaka, Zambia.
The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) is a Regional Economic Community comprising 19 member states and its Secretariat is hosted by the Government of the Republic of Zambia in Lusaka, Zambia. COMESA's objectives include sustainable economic development through economic and social regional integration.
The plinth area of the building is approximately 19,000 square metres, consisting of conference centre, offices and associated support facilities, built on several levels.
The project will also comprise the development of commercial facilities, including a hotel of at least four Star rating with not less than 200 guest rooms and all other facilities necessary for proper hotel operation.
Proposals must be delivered on or before July 28th at 15:00 hours Lusaka time.
