Alcaldía de Bogotá in Colombia is planning to launch a tender notice for the Canoas Wastewater Treatment Plant in the third quarter of 2022.
Located in Soacha municipality, the wastewater plant will have the capacity to process 16 m3 of water per second using chemical treatment as well as conventional biologic treatment methods. The plant will receive the wastewater from the Fucha, Tunjuelo and Tíntal basins and the municipality of Soacha.
The initial design phases were carried out by Greeley and Hansen. WSP-Castalia-D&O consortium, made up of WSP, Castalia Advisors and Durán & Osorio Abogados, will provide technical, legal, economic and financial assistance in structuring the PPP project.
