The Global Infrastructure Facility (GIF), in coordination with the World Bank, has been asked by the Department of the Valle del Cauca and the City of Cali in Colombia to provide specialist technical advice to evaluate the state of preparation of a major urban/suburban rail transit transaction.
The GIF, in return, has launched a tender for interested firms to deliver technical advisory services for the project. The works include the (1) analysis of the financial viability, bankability and commercial risk of the proposed transaction structure, taking into account any expected requirement for public funding and (2), providing well-grounded international, national, and local evidence-based advice on potential land value capture and transit-oriented development approaches suitable for integrated urban (re)development and transit provision PPP models in the Cali context.
The deadline for the submission of interest is on September 28, 2019.
