The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) in Colombia has received one offer from Sacyr Concesiones Colombia SAS in response to a public-private partnership (PPP) concession for the rehabilitation and restoration of Canal de Dique.
The project scope of work includes restoring the 115 km long stretch of the degraded ecosystem of Canal de Dique connecting to the Magdalena River at Cartagena Bay in Bolivar Department. It aims to benefit more than 1.5 million inhabitants residing in municipalities of Campo de La Cruz, Candelaria, Luruaco, Manatí, Repelón, Sabanalarga, Santa Lucia, Suan, Arjona, Arroyohondo, Calamar, Cartagena de Indias, Mahates, María La Baja, San Cristóbal, San Estanislao, Soplaviento and Turbana and Sucre.
ANI will carry out the contractual requirements to fulfill the procurement process and award the concession contract on August 04, 2022.
