National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) in Colombia has invited interested parties to consult on the Draft of contract notice for the Magdalena River PPP project.
The project is part of the first wave of the Bicentennial Concessions program and seeks to guarantee navigability in the Magdalena River along 686 km from Barranca to Bocas de Ceniza, in Barranquilla. The project will generate an increase in cargo transportation in the short and medium term and will reduce the costs of the logistics chain. The river will be part of the engine of intermodalism and the competitiveness of the regions and the country. The new waterway is expected to benefit approximately 6.6 million inhabitants of 69 municipalities from Barrancabermeja to Barranquilla.
Interested bidders can comment or request clarification of doubts on Draft until September 30, 2021.
