The National Planning Department (DNP) in Colombia has completed the pre-feasibility study for the regional hospital complex project in Fusagasugá. The project is planned to be procured under public-private partnership (PPP) model, under which selected private partner will provide design, financing, construction, fixed equipment, provision, operation, maintenance, and reversal services for the project.
The Regional Hospital in Fusagasuga will have 246 beds (56 in intensive care), 8 surgery rooms, 29 offices, and 46 observation sites for immediate care. Currently, the hospital complex located in San Rafael has 114 beds, 6 surgery rooms, and 8 offices.
