The Mining and Energy Planning Unit (UPME) in Colombia has selected Interconexión Eléctrica (ISA) for the new substation and transmission line concession.
The 8-km long 230-kilovolt double circuit transmission line will connect the new substation near the municipalities of Jericó and Támesis to the Ancón Sur line. ISA will also be responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of control systems, protections, communications and associated infrastructure.
