COFIDES has announced that it will temporarily acquire a 15.43% stake in the Chilean holding company Globalvia Licitaciones e Infraestructura Chile SPA. The transaction is valued at EUR40 million (US$45.43 million).
Globalvia is the indirect owner of 34% of the capital stock of Sociedad Concesionaria Vespucio Norte Express SA and Sociedad Concessionaria Túnel de San Cristóbal SA, road infrastructures of Santiago de Chile.
The Vespucio Norte Express concession company owns the Vespucio Norte highway, which is 29 kilometers long whereas the concession company Túnel de San Cristóbal is the owner of a 4 km toll road in Santiago de Chile.
