The Presidential Delivery Bureau (PDB) has announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with Netherlands-based ZF DEVCO for the construction of a US$400 million passenger port in Mpigaduri, north of Stone Town, Zanzibar, Tanzania.
The upcoming port will encompass a terminal for both passenger and car ferries, a bus terminal, a water taxi station with a seaplane landing area, a logistics and cargo center, a luxury five-star hotel, an international exhibition center, a marina, and various retail outlets.
