The Chennai Metro Rail Ltd is set to explore the possibility of using the Public-Private Partnership scheme for the development of the Chennai Metro three-corridors Phase II plan.
The Phase II project would have a 52km in length that will connect North Chennai to South Chennai and as far as Siruseri in India. It will represent an estimated investment of INR69.18 billion (US$995.21 million).
The construction of the project is expected to commence by December 2019 and will be completed by 2025.
