City of Paducah issued RFQ seeking advisors for sports facility development

City of Paducah in the USA has issued two requests for qualifications (RFQ) seeking firms to advise on design, planning and construction of Athletic Fields and Indoor Aquatic and Recreational facilities projects. Paducah is a city located in the US state of Kentucky.

The athletic field and associated facilities will be developed into a larger site plan that includes Stuart Nelson Park and other lands to be acquired. The project includes design, planning, and construction of the facilities. The facility will include the softball/baseball portion and the soccer portion. The developer will be responsible for coordination and connection of all building systems and utilities necessary for complete and functional athletic facilities. The deadline to submit the response for RFQ for athletic field project is August 1, 2019.

The indoor aquatic and recreation facilities project also includes design, planning, and construction of facilities. The facilities to be developed include Indoor aquatic center, Walking/Jogging track area, Multi-use courts, Out of the box and innovative recreational trend (i.e. rock wall; zip line) that fits Paducah community, Cardio Room, Fitness Studios, Community Meeting Rooms and Administrative Offices.

The city is expecting advisors  to provide evaluation of space needs, programming, final site selection services (architectural and civil engineering), construction cost estimates, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) cost estimates, revenue/expense estimates, operating staff recommendations, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bid development, and construction administration. The deadline to submit the response for RFQ for the indoor aquatic and recreation facilities project is July 17, 2019.
