BHP has selected CIMIC Group’s CPB Contractors to deliver its Wind Fences Project at Port Hedland, Pilbara, Australia.
The AUD130 million (US$90.6 million) contract includes the construction and installation of dust mitigation fences at Nelson Point and Finucane Island. The project intends to improve existing dust control measures in order to improve environmental outcomes and air quality for the benefit of the citizens of Port Hedland.
The construction works are expected to commence this year and be finalized in 2023.
