China Everbright Water Limited has announced that it has signed a concession and waste water treatment service agreement with the management committee of Jiangyin High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Jiangsu Province, and secured Jiangyin Waste Water Treatment Project (Binjiang Plant 2) and Ancillary Pipeline Project. The project commands an investment of approximately RMB230 million (US$33.1 million).
Jiangyin Binjiang Plant 2 and Pipeline Project will be invested in, constructed and operated based on a BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model. With a concession period of 30 years, the project will provide services to districts under the administration of the Development Zone.
The project consists of a waste water treatment plant with a designed daily waste water treatment capacity of 40,000 m3, 2.97 kilometers of pipeline network, and an ancillary pump station with a designed daily treatment capacity of 10,000 m3.
