Ministry of Public Works in Chile has announced plans to tender eleven new hospital concessions in 2020. The hospitals will provide 2,200 new beds to the public health network, in addition to standards of care that will provide greater resolution and safety in the care of users of the health system.

The hospitals that will be called for tender during 2020 are Santa Bárbara, Nacimiento, Coronel and Lota (Biobío Network); Coquimbo (Coquimbo); the Union, Río Bueno y Los Lagos (Red Valdivia), of La Serena and the National Cancer Institute and Buin, in the Metropolitan Region.
