CEEE receives court permission to resume privatization process
Attorney General of the State of Rio Grande do Sul has approved the auction of sale of the shareholding control of Companhia Estadual de Energia Elétrica (CEEE). The court made the decision believing maintaining the auction suspension would seriously damage the economy, public health, causing significant losses to the State of Rio Grande do Sul.
CEEE is a state-owned power distribution company. The public session of the auction for the sale of the shareholding control of CEEE-D will be held on March 31, 2021.
