CCR completes acquisition of airport concession in Costa Rica

CCR has informed the market that it concluded the acquisition of 99.64% of Aeris, concessionaire of the Juan Santamaria International Airport, in San José, Costa Rica on Tuesday, 01 October 2018.

CCR paid US$60 million to obtain full control of the asset by acquiring the remaining 48.40% of the partners' stake in the airport. The negotiation was announced in June, when preemptive rights were exercised in the purchase of the airport.

As of this date, CCR indirectly holds, through its subsidiaries, 97.15% of Aeris 'shareholding and 99.64% of its holding in Inversiones Bancnat (Ibsa), which holds Aeris' financial assets.
