The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) of Colombia has chosen Chinese firm CCA Colombia to assume works on Santa Ana - Mocoa - Neiva highway project.
The Santana - Mocoa - Neiva corridor is one of the priorities for the Government that has taken on the task of reactivating the transport infrastructure projects. This corridor covers 447 kilometers and requires investments of COP 2.9 billion (US$ 0.87 million), to date it has an advance of 5% and has been paralyzed due to lack of financing from its investors.
At the first stage, CCA will have 1080 days to execute the planned works. 1,500-meter viaduct of Pericongo will be constructed first. The Santa Ana - Mocoa - Neiva corridor will be essential for the mobilization of passengers and cargo from Ecuador and southern Colombia, towards the center of the country and the Caribbean Coast, integrating the departments of Huila, Cauca, and Putumayo.
