St. Clair College, located in Windsor, Ontario, south-east Canada, has launched Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for two public-private partnership (P3) projects concerning student housing and car parking.
The first project involves the development, construction, financing and operation of a student housing facility on the college campus. The selected proponent will advise their related parties in regards to the general contractor, developer, financier, and management company.
The second project involves the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of a parking garage on campus. The multi-level garage will contain space for 600 vehicles with the capability to expand to 1,000 vehicles to serve future needs, as well as public washroom facilities. Interested parties are also invited to bid to manage and operate all parking spaces across the college campus, including annual and capital repair and maintenance, ongoing operations, enforcement, upgrade of equipment, and visitor and guest relations. The latter proposal is optional.
