A joint venture between Campus Living Villages and Equitix has been selected to design, build and operate the University of Bristol's new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus. Located in the heart of the city, the development will see the construction of approximately 1,200 new bed spaces, primarily for the use of students studying at the new campus.
The Enterprise Campus will focus on education and research for business, social and digital innovation to tackle real-world challenges. Construction work at Temple Quarter is expected to start in 2019, with the campus due to open in 2021/22. The length of the consortium's contract is 50 years.
Campus Living Villages which owns and manages over 13,000 beds across the UK, will work closely with the University to secure input from students and tailor the design to meet their needs. It will also collaborate with the University’s pastoral care team to ensure that the development offers all students a welcoming and inclusive environment with 24/7 support available.
Equitix will oversee all aspects of the development, from construction and acquisition to maintenance and operation and work closely with CLV and the University to ensure that the project continues to meet students’ needs.
