The Interior Health Authority of British Columbia has launched a request for proposal (RFP) for the development of the facility named "Health Campus" in Nelson.
The facility or facilities will be used to operate Long-Term Care and Community Services. The Community Services will comprise such services as Home Health, Public Health, Mental Health, and Adult Day Program Services with treatment, consultation, and admin touchdowns for staff.
The Proponents must consider that at this time, 75% of clients referred to Long-Term Care (LTC) have moderate or higher cognitive difficulties and 90% require an integrated palliative approach to care which is expected to be reflected in the design.
The deadline for the submission of tender documents is on October 29, 2020.
