Representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure, the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) and the Attorney General's Office (AGU) of Brazil have signed an agreement with the state government of Espírito Santo allowing the former to proceed with the tender of a concession to opertae Eurico de Aguiar Salles Airport in Vitória (ES).

With the agreement, the state government is giving up its legal action against the bulk concession of the airports of Vitória and Macaé, known as the Southeast Block. This enables the auction of the Block to proceed as scheduled on the São Paulo Stock Exchange on 15 March 2019.

The Block is one of three to be auctioned in Brazil's fifth airport concession tender. The auction will cover twelve airports located across the country and award 30-year contracts.
