Caixa Economica Federal (FEP-Caixa) in Brazil has selected 46 municipalities under the Federal Government's Investment Partnership Program (PPI) to develop a public lighting system under public-private partnerships (PPP). Selected municipalities will formalize the contracting process under the adhesion contract with FEP-Caixa.
The municipal public lighting (IP) parks are made up of more than 18 million light points, representing 4% of the country's total energy consumption.
