Brazil to launch Intermunicipal ferry service concession

The Government of Maranhão through the State Agency for Urban Mobility and Public Service (MOB) has announced plans to launch an auction for the development of Intermunicipal Waterway Transport for Passengers, Cargo and Maritime Navigation Vehicles between Ponta da Espera Terminal and Cujupe Terminal. The authority is planning to auction the concession in two lots.

The opening of the session will take place on August 26, 2021, when companies will be able to register in the notice that is available on the MOB website. Interested companies will have a period of 45 days to register.
