Secretariat of the Environment and Infrastructure in Brazil has launched process to hold an auction for state Electric Energy-Generation company (CEEE-G). The deadline to submit the proposals is February 09, 2022 and the envelope opening ceremony will be held on February 15, 2022.

The power generation segment is the third arm of the CEEE Group to be privatized, after the auction for the sale of CEEE Distribuição (CEEE-D) and CEEE Transmissão. The minimum proposal value will be BRL1.25 billion (US$197.77 million) for 66.23% stake.
