Ministry of Infrastructure in Brazil has requested the state-owned Planning and Logistics Company - Empresa de Planejamento e Logística S.A. (EPL) to carry out studies for the concessions of five highways. The stretches add up to more than four thousand kilometers of federal highways and cross eight states.
Technical, economic, and environmental feasibility studies will be included in the scope pf EPL project portfolio. The work of the state-owned company also involves carrying out traffic, demand, operation, engineering, economic-financial modeling, and legal studies. The work will serve as a basis for the drafts of notices and contracts for the concession of these assets.
After the technical studies stage, EPL acts with the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) to carry out the necessary public hearings and provide clarifications to the control bodies.

BR-158/155 / MT / PA (1,135.1 km)
The highway is an important route for the flow of grain production from the northeast of Mato Grosso, integrating the region with the Carajás railway and allowing the export of production through the Port of Itaqui, in Maranhão.
BR-040 / DF / GO / MG (733 km)
Currently granted, the re-bidding of the highway intends to guarantee the continuity of the operational services and works of recovery, maintenance, monitoring, expansion of capacity and improvements in the stretch.
BR-163 / MS (847.2 km)
The highway has a fundamental role in commerce, tourism and mainly in the transport logistics of the agribusiness, as it is the main export corridor in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul to reach the ports of the states of Paraná and Santa Catarina.
BR-060/153/262 / DF / GO / MG (1,176.5 km)
The highway connects the extreme west of Mato Grosso do Sul with the federal capital, being the regional connection axis Goiânia-Anápolis-Brasília.
BR-135/316 / MA / PI (438 km)
The region considered the great national agricultural frontier today and presents expressive growth in agricultural production mainly of soy and corn, contributing to the regional development of the North and Northeast of the country.

Agencia Nacional de Transportes Terrestres (ANTT) in Brazil has received approval from the ministry of Infrastructure for the concession of road stretch BR-163/230/MT/PA from Sinop in Mata Groso state to te ports in Miritituba in Para state.
