The State Water and Sewage Company of Rio de Janeiro (Cedae) in Brazil is set to auction the concessions of water distribution and sewage collection and treatment services on April 30, 2021. Authority will receive proposals from interested parties until April 27, 2021.
The concession is divided into four parts to provided services for 35 municipalities in the state. The estimated investment value for all four parts is BRL 31 billion (US$ 5.85 billion). The concession period for the project is 35 years.
