Brazil to auction Rodoanel North Section PPP in São Paulo

The state government of Sao Paulo in Brazil has launched a tender notice seeking private partner to resume works on northern section of the Rodoanel Mario Covas (SP-021) highway. The section is 44 km long and it connects municipalities of São Paulo, Arujá and Guarulhos.

The selected private partner will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and finance as well as the conclusion of all pending construction works. It will provide construction works for the extension of 3 or 4 lanes dual-carriageway, 7 tunnels along with other special works. The concession period for the project is 31 years.
