The Government of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil has launched a tender notice seeking a consultant for a new concession of waterway system for passengers and cargo. The project aims to materialize the new concept of waterway transport and generate effective solutions for the challenges of urban mobility. 

The consultant will prepare technical studies for modeling the new waterway lines, which meet the needs of the population in the cities bordering the Guanabara, Sepetiba, and Ilha Grande bays. The advisor will be responsible for technical, economic, financial, and environmental feasibility studies.
