The municipality of Lajeado has relaunched the request for expression of interest (RFEOI) seeking a technical consultant for the street lighting PPP project in Lajeado. The concession involves the implementation, maintenance, operation and exploitation of the intelligent public lighting network, and the energy efficiency of buildings linked to the public administration of the municipality of Lajeado.

The city relaunched the tender process after two selected companies failed to deliver the study by the deadline. Both companies submitted requests for the extension of the deadline for the delivery of studies, but the authority decided to stop current procurement and relaunch the tender. 

The technical consultant will be responsible for the regulation of the authorization process for the preparation of surveys, investigations and technical studies for structuring the project.
