The Municipality of Crato in Ceará, Brazil has launched a tender notice seeking a private partner for the development and management of sanitation systems in the city.
The concession involves execution of construction works for collecting networks, building connections, interceptors, discharge lines and outfalls, sewage pumping stations, sewage treatment stations as well as commercial operation and maintenance of the network. The private partner will be responsible for the construction of 252 km long collection and interceptor networks, replacement of 36 km of the existing collection network, installation of 22 pumping stations, installation of four sewage treatment stations, and installation o 1,320 meters of outfalls.
