The state government of Santa Catarina has launched a public consultation for the concession of Bortoluzzi de Jaguaruna airport in Brazil.
The concession involves the expansion of the passenger terminal, modernization of airport facilities as well as the extension of landing and take-off runways. The concession period for the project is 30 years. The selected concessionaire should invest BRL40 million (US$8.34 million)in the next three years, which will be gradually returned as a guarantee by the State Government. Jaguaruna City Council has scheduled to host a public hearing for the concession on May 04, 2022.
The authority has already published draft documents for the concession contract and bidding documents. The contract documents were prepared with the assistance from CGA Group, formed by Consórcio Moysés Pires, Bacco Arquitetos, CPEA Consultoria, Infraway Engenharia and Terrafirma Consultoria.
