The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) has postponed the auction for privatization of Companhia Docas do Espírito Santo (Codesa). The auction will be held on March 30, 2022, starting at 2 pm, at B3, in São Paulo.
The project is the first port privatization in the country's history and was approved by PPI Council. The concession agreement will be valid for 35 years, renewable for another five years, and is estimated at BRL334.8 million (US$64.82 million) in investments, in addition to approximately BRL1 billion (US$193.6 million) to cover operating expenses.
