Brazil cancels auction for Rodoanel Mário Covas highway​ PPP Concession

State government of Sao Paulo in Brazil has canceled the auction for the works on northern section of the Rodoanel Mario Covas (SP-021) highway. The procurement process is being canceled due to arisen uncertainties by serious national economic crisis.

The concession involved the operation, maintenance, and finance as well as the conclusion of all pending construction works for 44 km-long section.The 75% complete project first began implementation in 1998 which was hindered.
