Bosnia's Sarajevo Canton in talks for Podlugovi and Ljubinici HPP concession

Sarajevo Canton in Bosnia and Herzegovina is in talks with a local company Sarajevo International for the awarding of the concession of two hydroelectric power plants (HPP) with a total investment of BAM30 million (US$17 million). 

The 30-year concession is set to be awarded for the development of 3.82 MW Podlugovi HPP and 4.26 MW Ljubinici HPP that will be built in Ilijas on the river of Bosna. The combined capacity of the two projects can deliver more than 36 GWh of energy per year.

The government will negotiate with Sarajevo International for 60 days.
