The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) has approved a BRL200 million (US$37.91 million) loan to Via Brasil MT 100, a concessionaire that operates a 91.5-kilometer stretch of the MT-100between the cities of Alto Araguaia and Alto Taquari in Brazil.
Via Brasil MT 100 is formed by Conasa Infraestutura SA, Zetta Infraestrutura e Participações, Construtora Rocha Cavalcante (Campina Grande – PB), and CLD (Construtora Laços Detetores e Eletrônico).
The total investment value of the project is BRL550 million (US$104.25 million) over the concession period of 30 years. The concessionaire is obliged to invest BRL300 million (US$56.86 million) within the first seven years. The concession was awarded in February 2018.
