The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) has announced that it will finance the construction of the headquarters for the Reference Center for Women's Health (CRSM) in São Paulo, Brazil.
The hospital, which currently operates in a rented building, will have a broader and more modern structure, as well as advanced technological resources. The new headquarters will allow CRSM to increase the number of emergency services by 20% and the surgeries and admissions performed in the unit by 30%.
The project is carried out by the Specific Purpose Vehicle, Inova Saúde São Paulo SA, within the scope of a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with the State of São Paulo. BNDES financing will be BRL120 million (US$22 million), which covers 23% of the total investment foreseen in the project. The completion of the works is scheduled for June 2022.
