BNDES announces winner for Block 3 Rio Grande do Sul Highway PPP

The Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) has announced that Integrasul Consortium, comprising Silva & Bertoli Empreendimentos e Participaçoes Societarias SA and Gregor Partipaçoes Ltda., won the concession for Block 3 of Rio Grande do Sul Highways in Brazil. 

The consortium won an auction held on Wednesday at B3 in Sao Paulo, with a proposal for an 1.3% discount on the maximum toll fare. The estimated investment for this project is BRL3.4 billion (US$659.6 million). The concession period is 30 years. 

The Block 3 of the Rio Grande do Sul Highway project connects the Serra Gaucha region to the Porto Alegre metropolitan region.
