The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) has received two bids for the development of the dual carriageway works of the COP4.5 billion (US$1.07 billion) Buga-Buenaventura project in Colombia. The project is a part of the Bicentennial-5G Concessions program.

The selected bidder will be awarded a concession length of 128 km and a corridor on the second lane along 116.1 km. The concession contract provides for the rehabilitation of 15 km of the Simón Bolívar road, the national pass through Buenaventura, the fine-tuning of 155 km of existing road, the improvement of 33.7 km and the construction of 35 km of a new road (second lane). The project also involves the operation and maintenance of 244 km.
