The National Cancer Institute project in Chile has received two bids from Obrascón Huarte Lain SA Agency in Chile and the CRCC Chile Group, made up of China Railway Construction Corporation (International) Limited and China Railway Construction Group Corporation Limited.
The US$260 million project involves the development of a new hospital located on the grounds of the former San José Hospital, in Independencia. The hospital will be built over an area of 86,000 m2 with a total of 249 beds serving a population of 11.6 million people over 15 years of age.
The project is expected to be awarded during the second half of 2022.
