Bids Received for Juranah ISWR Project in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) announced that it has received private-sector bids for Juranah Independent Strategic Water Reservoir (ISWR) Plant Project in Saudi Arabia.

Bids are received from the following consortiums:

  1. Abdul Aziz Al Ajlan Sons Co. for Commercial & Real Estate Investment and Orascom Construction;
  2. Nesma Company, Al Jomaih Energy & Water Company, and Buhur for Investment Company; and
  3. Vision International Investment Company and Gulf Investment Corporation G.S.C and TAQA.

Juranah ISWR is the first of its kind that will be developed with the participation of the private sector, with a total storage capacity of 2,500,000 m3 to provide Makkah City with drinking water by Q1 2027.
