Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) has invited bids to construct Phase 5: Package A of the Dar Es Salaam Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) infrastructure project.
The package is divided into two lots as follows:
The project consists of upgrading the existing road from 2 lanes to 4 lanes, construction of embankments, drainage structures involving bridges, box culverts, pipe culverts and pavement layers, and ancillary works. The Government of Tanzania has received funds from the French Development Agency (AFD) towards the cost of the Construction of the Dar es Salaam BRT System Project – Phase 5. It is intended that part of the proceeds of these funds will be applied to eligible payments under the Contract.
