The Flemish government transport company 'De Lijn' in Belgium is accepting bids till beginning of July 2019 for the Wissenhage tram depot project. The depot is located in the city of Ghent in Northeast Belgium. The 'Wissenhage' tram depot will be built on a 14-hectare site with the capacity to hold 78 long trams and 151 buses, a workshop, cleaning, and tanking facilities as well as room for storage, administrative offices and training facilities. The depot will be fully equipped with for electric trams. Depot will have sustainable energy sources which will cover a quarter of the energy used by the trams and depot.
