The bidding team, Via Sotra, had withdrawn from the tender competition for the development of RV 555 Sotrasambandet road PPP project in Norway.
Shortlisted by Statens Vegvesen on May 2020, the consortium is formed by VINCI Concessions S.A.S., VINCI Highways S.A.S., Acciona Concesiones S.L. and Implenia Switzerland Ltd. The other two shortlisted teams, Sotra Link and ITIAS, have been pre-selected by the authorities.
The project involves the development of a new main road connection between Sotra/Øygarden and Bergen to ensure efficient transport to urban centers and districts, as well as to main roads, railway, airport and sea transport. It will include the construction of new road sections, pedestrian/cycle paths, bridges, overpasses and tunnels, among other infrastructure.
