The São Paulo State Public Transportation Services Regulatory Agency (ARTESP) has announced the opening of the International Public Bidding for the concession of 22 airports in Sao Paulo as well as expansion, operation, maintenance and investments for the management of the airport infrastructure. The airports are currently under the management and operation of the São Paulo Aviation Department (DAESP).
Overall, the tendered airports are separated into two blocks- Southwest and Northwest. The bidding process is open to national and foreign bidders. The concession term will be 30 years.
