Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) has issued a shortlist of bidders interested in Phase 2 of the Blueprint Schools P3 program in Maryland, USA.
Fengate and Gilbane is the winning team for phase 1 and the other 3 respondents are:
Phase 2 of the project will include 4 elementary schools and 2 K–8 schools, whereas Phase 1 featured 5 new middle schools and 1 K–8 schools. The schools that will be replaced in phase 2 are: Margaret Brent Regional School, Glenridge Elementary School, James E Duckworth, Regional School, Calverton Elementary School, Beltsville Academy, Hyattsville Elementary School, Springhill Lake Elementary School, Gwynn Park Middle School, Brandywine Elementary School, Baden Elementary School, Robert Frost Elementary School, Charles Carroll Middle School, Carrollton Elementary School.
JLL is the financial adviser along with KDA and Arcadis as technical advisers for the project. Annual funding for availability payments will come from State – US$25 million, County – US$10 million maximum and PGCPS – US$15 million yearly.
