The Ministry of Public Works in Chile has shortlisted five bidders to participate further in tendering process of the International Antarctic Center (CAI) in Punta Arenas, Chile. The center will be developed in a 32,930 sq m area with 21,938 sqm for building and 10,992 sqm of exterior works. It will feature a laboratory, scientific research center, an interactive museum and a logistics area to support Antarctic expeditions.

The estimated investment value for the project is CLP63.92 billion (US$70.03 million). The implementation works for the project are scheduled to begin in the first half of 2023.
The Ministry of Public Works of Chile has awarded the concession for the Second Santiago-San Antonio Highway Concession, Route 78 and the Los Ríos-Los Lagos Hospital Network.
