Carlow University has announced Edgemoor Infrastructure & Real Estate as a selected bidder following RFP process for the development of its Lower Campus. Located along Fifth Avenue and Robinson Street in Pittsburgh, the project will be constructed on a 1.77-acre tract of property near the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) station at the intersection of Craft Avenue and Fifth Avenue.
The campus will consist of an Interdisciplinary Health & Science Center, a mixed-use area for offices and research space for private tenants or institutions. The main goals of the PPP project are to support the growth of health science programs and to create space, which will attract and promote businesses and retail segments to support the local economy.
The project is expected to be completed by 2024.
