The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District in the USA has launched a bid notice document seeking a private developer for Lone Madrone Ranch improvement project. The project involves repair and improve an existing spring-fed water system at the
Lone Madrone Ranch, La Honda Creek Open Space Preserve. The existing spring box is in bad repair and the old galvanized pipe no longer connects to a concrete trough across the ranch road. Lone Madrone Ranch is located on Hwy. 84 (La Honda Road) approximately 3 miles south of the intersection of Hwy 35 and Hwy 84, in the County of San Mateo, California.
The scope of work includes the construction of a spring box, approximately 2,580 feet of new, buried HDPE pipeline, one polyethylene, low-profile water distribution tank with a size range of 4,500 gallons not to exceed 4,999 gallons, tracer wire, and necessary valves and fittings to support such water system.
